Kids As Wildlife Superheroes

EDUCATIONAL PROJECT

Most hunting and trapping associations have methods to recruit children - coloring books, lesson plans, etc.  Currently, they are going after the scouts!  They also have ways of  "recruiting" children at Living History Days celebrations and other historical events.

.

It's terrible that they are trying to destroy the innocent minds of our children with hunting, trapping, and killing of animals.  This will only serve to confuse the children where they won't know right from wrong where animal treatment is concerned.

This just means that we have to work harder to get through to these children (our future) in our own coloring books, lesson plans, etc.  We need to promote the benefits and beauty of all animals in ads, media, events, etc.

We are currently designing a great Protect R Wildlife Educational Coloring/Work Book (KAWS to PAWS TO HELP Wildlife) for our children's educational project - pictures of each of the misunderstood so-called nuisance  critters with Q&A's and fun and interesting facts about each of the animals and their benefit to the environment, and how they are misunderstood and harmed (in an easy-to-read manner).

School programs can purchase this educational pack for their "humane education program" for $10 and be allowed to reproduce more for their  students.  (Click here to view Educational Materials and Information on how to order.)

We will have a "KID Hero of the Month" article on the web site for those children, parents, or teachers who submit a story and picture about a child or group that rescues an animal.

(Click here to see our Heroes.)

There will be Links to children's educational web sites.  Some of these sites could win one of our web site Awards(Click here to see Links)

Every month we will have a downloadable coloring page about our "Animal of the Month", and monthly Contests.
