ABOUT PRW

Protect R Wildlife's mission is to increase public awareness about our nation's backyard wildlife, encouraging positive, humane solutions regarding those deemed a nuisance.  Our work is also focused on improving statutes and laws, and enforcement of those laws, so that animals are better protected against cruelty and abuse.
Our Educational Program, Love Your Backyard Wildlife, teaches how to coexist with our wildlife neighbors with positive solutions.  Our motto is "There is always a positive humane solution to all wildlife problems."
Our TNR + project, is groundbreaking in bringing animal welfare groups together so that there are win-win solutions, where animals and people are all winners.  "Love Your Backyard Wildlife" and "Spay/Neuter for Feral Cats is an Act of Kindness" are the two bottom lines this program will actively promote.

The Articles, "Humane Trapping Instructions" and "Feral Cat/Wildlife Impact Study" are part of our TNR + educational materials and we think it could really make a difference in preventing harm to wildlife and encouraging people to help in the spay and neuter of feral cats.

Our new project, "Wildlife Shui" will adopt a community at a time with an ultimate goal of creating a world where every home, park and business has an "animal-friendly" environment using a survey to see how individual yards, business properties, local parks and greenbelt corridors measure up.

We also have a children's program, K.A.W.S (Kids As  Wildlife Superheros)  to teach young people about the value of preserving and protecting our native wildlife and teaching them to respect all animals equally.  We will provide teaching aids to humane educators as well.

Another project is "Alternatives to Hunting, Culling and Trapping".  This is an example of how we will offer our solutions and trainings to federal, county and city government agencies that deal with animals.

Our Political Program, P.A.W.S. (Public Against Wildlife Suffering), keeps states' cruelty statutes and cruelty cases in front of the public with petitions and alerts, launching instant campaigns that have a far reach to affect public will and the publics' involvement.

We would like to further introduce our work to you by requesting that you read our Articles, and about our Projects - "Anti-Hunting"; "Anti-Trapping"; and "Burden of Proof on Homeowners"; and our new project"eBay Atrocities Campaign".

One of our goals is to be THE international clearinghouse of all relevant issues and information concerning backyard wildlife.
